Privacy policy
The short version: this site collects what you type into the form and nothing else. No analytics, no ad pixels, no cookies. The long version is below.
Effective August 30, 2026
Who this covers
This notice applies to rankdon.com, operated by Rankdon, a digital marketing business based in Reno, NV. It covers information collected through this website. It does not cover the websites we build and run for clients, which have their own policies, or anything you send us outside this site.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form and submit:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your website address, if you give us one
- Which service you're interested in, and anything else you write in the message box
Your browser also sends its IP address and user-agent to whoever serves this page, as it does for every website. We do not log that ourselves, combine it with anything, or use it to identify you.
What we don't collect
This is unusually short, so it's worth stating plainly. As of the effective date above, this website:
- Sets no cookies of any kind
- Runs no analytics: no Google Analytics, no alternative
- Runs no advertising pixels: no Google Ads tag, no Meta Pixel, no conversion tracking
- Uses no session recording, heatmaps, chat widget, or call tracking
- Does not buy information about you, or collect it from anywhere but the form
We run ads and analytics for a living, so we may well add measurement to our own site later. If we do, this notice gets updated before the code ships, and the section above will say exactly what was added.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers. We share it only in these categories, and only as needed:
- Service providers who run this site for us: Vercel, which hosts this site, and Resend, which delivers your form submission to our inbox as an email. Between them they see what you typed into the form, plus the IP address and browser the request came from. They process it on our instructions and for no purpose of their own, and neither is permitted to use it to build a profile of you.
- Font delivery: this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That request tells Google your IP address and basic browser information. It sets no cookie and is not tied to your form submission, but it is a request to a third party and you should know about it.
- Law enforcement or a court, if we are legally required to. We'll tell you unless we're prohibited from doing so.
If we ever sell, merge, or transfer the business, your information may transfer with it, subject to this notice.
Tracking across other websites
No. We do not allow any third party to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services through this site. There is nothing here that would let them: no advertising tags, no third-party cookies, no cross-site trackers. Google Fonts sees a single request for a font file; it is not a tracker and it does not follow you.
This site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no tracking here to turn off.
What we use it for
To read what you sent, write you back, and prepare the growth plan you asked for. If you become a client, to do the work you hired us for and to bill you for it. That's the whole list. We do not add you to a newsletter, a drip sequence, or any marketing list you did not explicitly ask to join.
Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number in the form, you are asking us to get back to you, and we may reply by phone call or text message about that specific inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting you; reply HELP for help.
We will not send you automated marketing texts or calls unless you have separately given written consent to receive them, and giving that consent is never a condition of buying anything from us. Your number is never sold or passed to another company to market to you.
Note for clients: the SMS follow-up systems we build run on your business's numbers and your customers' consent, under your own policies. That's covered in your service agreement, not here.
We email you to answer your inquiry and to run your account. Any genuinely promotional email we send will identify itself, carry our mailing address, and include a working unsubscribe link that we honor promptly.
Reviewing or changing your information
Email hello@rankdon.com and ask. You can request that we:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it entirely
We'll confirm it's really you, then do it. There is no form to fill out and no account to create. We aim to respond within a few business days, and in any case within the timeframes the law requires.
Nevada: your right to tell us not to sell your information
Nevada law (NRS 603A.300 to 603A.360) gives Nevada consumers the right to submit a verified request directing an operator not to sell their covered information.
We do not sell your covered information, and we have no plans to. You are entitled to submit the request anyway, and we will honor it. Our designated request address for these requests is hello@rankdon.com. Put "Nevada opt-out" in the subject line. We will respond within 60 days, and if we need more time we may extend that by up to 30 days and will tell you why.
If you live in another state
Several states now give residents rights over their personal information: to know what a business holds, to correct it, to delete it, to get a copy, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising. Most of those laws exempt a business our size, and we do not sell data or run targeted advertising off this site in the first place.
We would rather not argue about thresholds. Email hello@rankdon.com with any of those requests and we will handle it the same way we handle everyone else's: verify it's you, then do what you asked. We will not discriminate against you for asking.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't become clients: we keep the message for up to two years so we know what was already discussed if you come back, then delete it. Client records: for as long as you're a client and then as long as tax and contract law requires us to, typically seven years. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, except where we're legally required to keep it.
How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted. Access to what you send is limited to the two people who run this business. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise, but there is very little here to steal: we hold contact details and a description of your business, not payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or health information. We never ask for those through this site.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we update the effective date at the top of this page and post the new version here. If the change is material, meaning it affects what we collect, what we do with it, or who we share it with, we will say so prominently at the top of this page for at least 30 days after the change. If the change is material and we hold your email address because you contacted us, we will also email you before it takes effect.
